The mystery room

You must have all wondered what that locked room in the department of mysteries contains. Well, the time has come for you to get a grip on yourself and find out what the hidden mystery of that mysterious room is. That room contains the power, the things much worse than death, which is the power of love, the greatest of all emotions.
Harry’s mother died to save him. She gave Harry a protection that flows in Harry’s veins to this day which is no other than the power of love. Harry has the power of love for his friends, for his parents and so does he have this power for Sirius who unfortunately has died. Voldemort has always underestimated this power, which has always resulted in his failure, and Harry contains love in huge quantities.

How do I know this? We have enough evidence from the books that clearly states about this greatest of all emotions. I would only state some of the clues but you will look for more in the Harry Potter series.

At the end of chapter thirty-six, the only one he ever feared, when Voldemort possessed Harry, “And then Harry’s scar burst open. He knew he was dead: it was pain beyond imagining, pain past endurance-… And as Harry’s heart filled with emotion, the creature’s coils loosened, the pain was gone…”

When Harry felt the powerful emotion, which is the emotion of love, then only he was to get rid of Voldemort from his body.

Dumbledore also knows about this emotion and this power. When Voldemort says, “ There is nothing worse than death, Dumbledore!”

Dumbledore answers, “ You are quite wrong. Indeed, your failure to understand that there are things much worse than death has always been your greatest weakness.”

Dumbledore also says, “ We both know that there are other ways of destroying a man, Tom.”

In the chapter, the lost prophecy, when Harry was feeling angry for Sirius’s death

And was feeling love for him Dumbledore said, “ There is no shame in what you are feeling, Harry. On the contrary… the fact that you feel pain like this is your greatest strength.”

Now I think you will able to conclude that it is the power of love that Harry possesses in great quantities. You will also notice that in The Order Of The Phoenix, there is a lot of mentioning of emotions of Harry.

When Harry tried to open the door with the knife that Sirius had given him, the knife melted meaning it contains excessive heat (heat beyond imagination). If the power in that room is love then why heat? This might be implying that the power is so very strong.

“You know what could be in there?” said Luna eagerly.

“Something blibbering, no doubt,” said Hermione.

May be what Luna was about to say was important.
